Imagine yourself and your partner having a grand time while showing off your dancing skills doing The Twist in a 1950s-themed atmosphere. You can do this even if you have two left feet. Just lose yourself in the moment the way Mrs Wallace and the funny Vincent does...
Preparation steps:
- Lockdowns may be ruining the worldâs fun right now, but if you can find a restaurant that is open, grab the opportunity! Acting out this fantasy in public will be a lot more thrilling and exciting. You might even inspire other couples to have their own fun.
- Although you donât have to really know The Twist, itâs a good idea to at least look closely at the moves that Vincent and Mia pulled off. As long as youâre twisting your feet and having fun, youâre set to role-play this part of Pulp Fiction.
- The right outfits will make this roleplay feel more real, so find your favorite white shirt and black pants. If youâre roleplaying as Vincent, try to find a Bolo tie so you can really impersonate him. Both partners can wear wigs to look the part.
- Although Mia and Vincent never actually hook up, they had a blast during the famous dance scene. You should too! You donât have to be a great dancer to enjoy dancing with your partner. Just forget about the rest of the world and focus on creating a fantastic and special memory with your partner.
- You shouldnât be breaking any rules while living out your fantasies (unless thatâs something you and your partner are into), so consider skipping the drug-related parts of the film. You can use fake cigarettes to add some sense of realism though. Pretending to smoke with these cigarettes can be a lot of fun, especially if youâve done it as a cheeky child!
- Get the right music and feel the rhythm in your hips - songs such as âDear Lady Twistâ by Gary âU.S.â Bonds and âHey, Letâs Twistâ by Joey Dee & the Starliters are a few good considerations. But donât stop there. Put your favorite songs on full blast and dance to them. Have fun the way the actors did and donât worry too much about the technicalities.
- The scene where Mia drinks her milkshake and Vincent cheekily asks for a sip is a beloved one - get your own milkshake and live it for yourself. Remember how intently Mia stared at the poor man and try it yourself, or feel yourself melt as your partner stares at you so intensely.
Some tips:
- Enjoy a couple of strong drinks so you can be nice and loose for this roleplay - let go of your inhibitions so you can have more fun!
- Mia is quite the bossy lady so that could lead to a kinky time when youâre done dancing and doing what she and Vincent wanted deep down - spend some time alone in the bedroom.
- These two characters had some intense chemistry so try to work that in during your roleplay. Be seductive but donât show it too much - the way Mia and Vincent played with each other.
